The BFC Scoop
Hello BFC Friends, Families, and Neighbors,
Welcome to February 2026 — we hope you’re settling into the rhythm of winter and finding moments of connection and warmth along the way.
As the days slowly begin to lengthen, the Bedford Family Connection has a wonderful mix of cozy indoor gatherings, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to look ahead together. From playroom time and parent meetups to community conversations that shape our town, February is full of ways to stay connected during the heart of winter.
One important moment coming up this month is Bedford’s upcoming town election. To help families stay informed, we’ll be hosting a virtual Meet & Greet with School Committee candidates later this month. It’s a great opportunity to hear directly from the candidates about issues that impact our community. If you can’t attend live, we’ll be recording the session and welcoming questions submitted in advance.
We’re also beginning to look ahead to spring — and we’re excited already. Early planning is underway for some favorite seasonal events, including our Spring Egg Hunt, Spring Concert, and New Moms Brunch. Whether you enjoy brainstorming ideas, lending a hand on the day of an event, or simply staying in the loop, there are many ways to be involved as these plans take shape.
As always, BFC is about showing up in ways that work for you. Whether that means attending an event, helping behind the scenes, joining a planning meeting, or simply following along, you are part of what makes this community feel welcoming and supportive.
We’ve gathered everything happening this month — plus important dates and details — into our February 2026 Newsletter below so you can easily see what’s coming up.
Thank you for being part of this village. We’re so grateful for the connections that continue to grow here, even in the coldest months.
Warmly,
The Bedford Family Connection TeamScroll down to read the full February newsletter.
