The BFC is run entirely by parent volunteers! Volunteering with the BFC offers a great way to get to know other fun and energetic parents in the Bedford community. BFC TEAMThe Bedford Family Connection is powered by a small Executive Board and a wonderful network of parent volunteers who help create community through events, playgroups, and family support programs. We’ve recently simplified our structure to make volunteering easier and more flexible. Most roles now involve small, one-time commitments—like helping with a single event, taking one week of social media posts, or joining a short-term project pod. All BFC members are welcome at our monthly board meetings, where we share updates, plan upcoming programs, and connect as a community. If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to help you find a role that fits your interests and availability—whether it’s a one-time event or a recurring contribution.
