VOLUNTEERING WITH THE BFC

The BFC is run entirely by parent volunteers — and we’ve recently simplified our structure to make getting involved easier and more flexible for busy families.

Instead of year-round committee commitments, most opportunities now involve small, one-time roles such as helping with a single event, joining a short project pod, or assisting with communications or membership. Every contribution makes a big difference.

Our volunteer leadership team meets monthly on a Tuesday evening to plan upcoming programs, share updates, and connect as a community. All members are welcome to attend.

If you’d like to learn about our next meeting or explore volunteer opportunities that fit your availability, please reach out anytime at bfcdirectors@gmail.com.

BFC CORE PILLARS

To make volunteering simple, sustainable, and fun, the BFC organizes all of our programs into four core pillars. Each pillar offers a different way for families to connect, contribute, and build community — without long-term commitments. Whether you want to help with a single event, support communications, join a fundraising project, or take part in family support programs, there’s a place for everyone. Explore the pillars below to find what fits your interests and your life.
